Where do we start, girls were helpful but then ol' mate chips in!!!Empty park but got relocated by ol' mate, whinged cause I two dogs, (dog friendly park) whinged cause I had them under cover (Townsville floods) then abused me from his toilet window at 10pm cause my dog left the tent while I was in the toilet.Dead end caravan park, pathetic owner steer clear!!!Plenty of nicer parks in Bowen.

Good location and very nice peer in front of the camping.However, not really suitable for tent camping. Facilities dont work properly, BBQ area costs 1$ (although there are free BBQ areas right outside on the beach promenade), not much really provided (and that doesnt have to be expected but still) and everything is incredibly strict (closing times, etc.)
A nice and friendly caravan park on the Bowen foreshore and just a short walk to town where there are numerous restaurants and cafes. Across from the park there is an excellent water and skate area for the kids as well as electric bbq's and sheltered areas. The boat harbour and marina is just a short walk away(300 meters) as well as the Yacht club that has excellent meals.
